Premier Inn, Paignton

The annex extension at Paignton Seafront, Goodrington Sands completed June this year, in time for the summer 2018 season. The scheme had a number of challenges throughout the design process due to it’s high profile location with prominent views into the site from Goodrington Park. A number of historic elements, such as the locally listed Inn on the Quay Beefeater restaurant and the stone walls, which surround the site and cross the car park, required considerable discussion with the Local Authority Design Officer and Historic Officer resulting in the location of the annex building changing during the planning process.
